OUR INITIATIVES

Ideas do not always emerge from a carefully laid plan. Sometimes they begin with a question, a problem in need of a solution, or simply the thought that something could be done more easily or better.
Since 1985, PoVelty has developed activities in a variety of fields. From software development and internet services to publishing, electronic learning environments and innovative projects.
Although these activities may seem to have little in common at first glance, they share the same principles: simplicity, clarity, independence and the freedom to develop ideas in our own way.
 
Not every idea has to be big to become valuable.
Some ideas grow into a product or an independent activity. Others remain small, change along the way or become the foundation for something new.
Today, our activities come together in four initiatives:
 
Publishing — Publishing our own works, including the Het Animal House book series.
 
WCM+ — Our own content management system, developed to make website management simple and straightforward.
 
EasyELO — An electronic learning environment designed with ease of use for teachers and students in mind.
 
The Dutch Innovators — A place where project and product development come together, and where we work with the next generation to explore new ideas.
What connects these initiatives is not so much the technology or the final product, but the thinking behind them.
We look for opportunities, listen to people's needs and try to turn ideas into something useful.
