what drives people.
SINCE 1985
Seeing what others overlook.
Listening to what remains unsaid.
Sensing what will matter tomorrow.

HISTORY

1985
Started developing software in the COBOL programming language. Later that year, GW-BASIC was introduced and used to write several calculation programs for an accountancy firm.
These programs included connections to the dBASE III database system.

1989
Switched to programming in QBasic 4.5, developing software as well as several text adventure games. These games can still be played in a DOS environment.

1994
Began developing websites using Notepad in Windows 3.1. Internet access was only available through a dial-up modem, so connections were considerably slower than they are today. To ensure that websites loaded reasonably quickly in Netscape Navigator, images were kept to a minimum.
Even today, applications and websites are still developed using a text editor.

2000
Started developing innovative projects and products, resulting in several nominations and awards. Developed WBO, a framework in which content was stored in a database and retrieved by a website.

2001
Purchased a Windows NT server to host websites, applications and email services in-house.

2003
WBO was succeeded by IBOsystems.

2006
Expanded into a fully fledged hosting company, taking care of all hosting requirements on behalf of its clients. IBOsystems was discontinued and replaced by WCMplus, developed in response to the growing need for simplicity and ease of use.

2008
Nominated for innovative concepts developed by PoVelty.
Frisjes Awards Ceremony at Leeuwarden City Hall

2010
Won second prize at the Utrecht Innovation Fair for an audiovisual aid.
